Kristin Cox Fundraiser Breaks Fundraising Goals

Potomac, MD - Kristin Cox, Lt Governor Nominee for Governor Robert Ehrlich in the 2006 Election, was the guest of honor at a fundraiser for Zubairi for Congress.

Mrs Cox, a mother of two, spent the evening mingling with supporters of Daniel Zubairi and spoke for several minutes in support of the grassroots effort Zubairi for Congress has displayed on behalf of the Ehrlich and Steele Campaigns.

Original fundraising projections were exceeded by several thousands of dollars and there were over sixty-five in attendence. Many candidates and elected officials were present to support the Zubairi for Congress ticket.

At all July 4th Parades, the Z-Crew outnumbered Democratic Opponent Chris Van Hollen. Especially at the Leisure World Parade, the Z-Crew has a spot at the very front with 40 marchers, a convertibile, and a great band behind us. Van Hollen only has 2 people

Area High Schools Form 'Z-Shirt Day'

Many High School Student  in the 8th Congressional District have established a weekly "Z-Shirt Day" in support of US Congressional Candidate Dan Zubairi. Courting Zubairi's strong committment to improving education, making schools safer, gang prevention, and improving the environment for future generations.

With hundreds of students across the 8th District Participating in the weekly ritual pays tribute that America's Youth is deeply concerned about the future of Montgomery County, Maryland, and the United States role in the world.

TEAM MONTGOMERY KICKOFF A HUGE SUCCESS

Republican Team Montgomery's Campaign Kickoff was a celebration of the future of Maryland. Hosted by Daniel Zubairi, Republican Candidate for US Congress in Maryland's 8th Congressional District.

The event with attendance of nearly one hundred, had several notable guests. RNC National Committeewoman Joyce Terhes, provided remarks in strong support of Daniel Zubairi, the Maryland Teenage Republicans, and the Republican Ticket. Additionally, State Senate Candidate Bill Askinazi (R-15) provided remarks in strong support of Daniel Zubairi's candidacy and spoke of the need to work together as a team. Others notable  individuals in attendance incuded Nicolee Ambrose (National Chair, Young Republican National Federation) Joe Leon (Maryland Teenage Republican Chair), Hon. Tom Reinheimer (MCGOP Chairman), Georce Sauer (MCGOP Committeeman), Rachel Gingrich (MCGOP Treasurer and MCYR Chair), Mike Monroe (Candidate for State Senate, MD-16), Lynn Siguenza (MCGOP Committewoman and State Senate Candidate), Students from BCC High, Churchill High, Whitman High, Walter Johnson High, Wooton High, University of Maryland, and many other supporters.

"This is about the future of Maryland. This is such a critical year, with Governor Ehrlich and Michael Steele at the top of the ticket, along with many other candidates, I strongly support the members of Team Montgomery and strongly support the need for all of us to work as a team for the common betterment of Maryland" said Zubairi.

Daniel Zubairi Announces Candidacy for US Congress

In a crowded room of nearly 200 supporters and over twenty voluneers wearing Zubairi for Congress Shirts, Daniel Zubairi announced his intention to run for the United States Congress in Maryland's 8th Congressional District. Running on an agenda to repair the disfunctional roadways and ineffictive public transportation infrastructure, as well as crime, drugs, and education in the National Capital Region.
